Data Deletion
Last updated: June 26, 2026
1. What you can ask us to delete
You can request deletion of your PayCycl account and personal data connected to it. This may include profile details, authentication records where possible, accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, savings and investment allocations, loans, recurring transactions, notification preferences, weekly review notes, and group payment records associated with your account.
2. How to request deletion
If an in-app deletion setting is available, you can start there. You can also email privacy@paycycl.com from the email address connected to your PayCycl account with the subject "Delete my PayCycl account".
We may ask you to verify your identity before deleting account data. This helps prevent someone else from deleting your account without permission.
3. What happens after deletion
Account deletion is generally irreversible. Once processed, you may lose access to dashboards, reports, group payment history, allocation records, and other PayCycl data connected to your account.
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a different legal requirement applies or we need more time because of complexity, security review, or identity verification.
4. Data that may remain for a limited time
Some information may remain temporarily or in limited form after deletion, such as backup copies, security logs, transactional email records, fraud prevention records, legal compliance records, billing or dispute records, and group information needed by other members.
Where full deletion is not possible immediately, we work to minimize, isolate, or de-identify data where appropriate.
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or appeal decisions about certain personal information. We describe these choices in our Privacy Policy.
